The ChessWired™ Approach

The ChessWired™ program is a fresh approach to teaching chess. While the student does learn the essentials of chess and how to be a worthy opponent to just about any player, the secondary focus is on the development of skills that go beyond the 64 squares.

The student learns the ability to think patiently and strategically in challenging situations. They learn to ask “What is most important at this time?” What decision is in my best interest?”

At ChessWired™ it is more than just pawn here, knight there, do this, stop that. We feel it is more important to expand the knowledge of the student in a way that allows them to apply the principles of chess to the myriad of life challenges that they will face in the years to come, and to use these principles to turn desire into reality.
